To meet automated assembly lines' demand for high consistency, Torxscrew has added a new optical full-inspection line that 100% inspects hexalobular recess depth, head geometry, dimensions and threads, upgrading quality control from sampling to full inspection.
The core advantage of torx screws lies in precise engagement between bit and recess. Insufficient recess depth, off-center teeth or residual burrs cause cam-out or floating during automatic fastening. The new line uses high-resolution cameras to image every torx recess, automatically rejecting defective parts and ensuring good bit engagement.
The new line currently covers T10 to T40 torx screws in pan, countersunk, button and tamper-resistant head styles. Inspection data is archived automatically, and customers can review recess dimension distribution and defect statistics by batch for traceability.
Automated lines are highly sensitive to screw consistency—one bad recess can stop the whole line. With full inspection, customers see明显 fewer floating locks, cam-outs and feeder jams, reducing overall assembly cost.
