Recently, Zhuhai Jiali FASTKIN carries out partial production‑line modification for torx fasteners. It mainly optimizes cold‑heading forming for torx recess and adds vision‑based dimension‑sorting station, improving forming quality and batch stability of standard Torx and security pin‑torx screws.

Production‑Line Optimization Items

• Renew multiple sets of torx cold‑heading dies to optimize recess profile and reduce off‑center recess and local notch defects;
• Adjust forming parameters for pin‑torx security screws to stabilize dimension tolerance of central‑pin height and position;
• Add vision‑inspection station for automatic identification of torx‑recess depth, concentricity and head appearance defects;
• Optimize downstream sorting workflow to reject bad recess‑profile parts before subsequent processes.

Improved Delivery Performance

After modification, full T5‑T40 torx fastener series, including machine screws, self‑tapping screws, set screws and drill‑tail screws, are subject to stricter appearance and recess‑profile control. Dimensional inspection records can be provided for automotive, security and automation‑equipment customers upon request.
